Refund Policy

FIRST RESPONDER DISCOUNTS

At Iron House Fitness, we offer frontline workers, law enforcement officers and first responders 5% off all of our products available on the Iron House Fitness website. To get access to the discount:

  • Create an account on our website here with a valid email address.
  • Send us an email at support@ironhousefitness.ca using the email address on your account and include valid proof.
  • We will then provide you with a unique discount code that can only be used by you with your account. 

COVID-19 Policy

At Iron House Fitness, we strive to fulfill our orders, returns, exchanges, and orders in a timely manner. However, in the light of restrictions imposed due to COVID-19, some shipping delays may be out of our control. If your order is delayed for whatever reason, we will be sure to notify you as soon as we can. If you have any concerns related to your order, please submit a request through our Online Contact Form.    

RETURNS 
Our policy lasts 15 days from date of purchase.

To make a return or an exchange, please submit a request through our Online Contact Form, and we will get back to you within 48 hours. 

For credit card and PayPal purchases, a 5% re-stock fee will be deducted from refunds within the 15 day window.

If the product arrives in good shape, has no structural defect, and is a standard product (color, dimensions, options), and the customer simply does not want the item, the customer will have 15 days to warn us and return the item in its original condition. The customer will pay to ship back to Iron House Fitness and will be responsible for proper packaging and all shipping costs in order to receive a refund. Pass the 15-day point, the customer can still return the item but will be provided a store credit of the original sales price. 

Item(s) must arrive at Iron House Fitness in good, salable condition before a refund or store credit can be given. 

If the product arrives in good shape, has no structural defect, and is a custom product (color, dimensions, options) and the customer simply does not want the item, no refund will be given. Custom equipment is built specifically for an individual in his/her needs or wants, which are outside of the standard line and availability. Custom pieces generally take more time and are more costly to design, oversee, and produce. If the product is used (standard or custom) has no defect, and the customer simply does not want the item, no refund will be given.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. We do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods.

We do not accept the following items unless they are unopened:

  • Knee sleeves
  • Elbow sleeves 
  • Wrist wraps
  • Some health and personal care items 

Additional non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. 

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable):

  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
  • Any item that is returned more than 15 days after delivery

MADE-TO-ORDER

Made-to-order items are non-refundable but can be returned for store credit of the amount that the customer paid excluding shipping. The item must be returned with no damages and the original packaging. The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping. 

PERSONAL TRAINING 

Personal training and coaching services as provided by Iron House Fitness and all of its employees are non-refundable. In the case that a membership has been purchased and has not been used within 30 days, cancellation is free. After the 30-day period, there is a 5% cancellation fee.   

REFUNDS 
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Returns must be unworn, in the state you received them, and in the original packaging.


1. Late or missing refunds 

  • If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
  • Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
  • Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
  • If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at support@ironhousefitness.ca.


2. Sale items  
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded. 

EXCHANGES  
We only replace items if they are received defective or damaged. Exchanges are done by mail (return shipping charges are the customer's expense). If you would like to exchange an item, please contact us through our Online Contact Form.

DEFECTIVE GOODS

Defective goods must be returned to Iron House Fitness for warranty repair or replacement. Contact us to return any product.

GIFTS 
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you or provided as online store credit. 

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return. 

SHIPPING 
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. 

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary. 

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Your satisfaction is 100% guaranteed and we stand behind every customer and the quality of our products. If you are not happy with anything, contact us immediately and we will make it right. 

We strive to ship any in-house products that are in stock, the same or next business day and if we cannot for any reason, you will hear from us immediately. 

For warranty questions or issues, please contact us. All inquiries will be handled within 48 hours.

1. Receiving Your Order
Please do an initial inspection of products and package upon receipt of goods. Any shortage or damage must be indicated clearly on the carrier’s delivery receipt.

2. Claiming Damaged Products
If the product is damaged because of shipping, please make a note of it with the shipping company, or contact us immediately. Check carefully the outside appearance of the package. Did it arrive in good condition? If not, take a picture if possible, while still in the box or pallet. Proceed from there carefully and check the equipment. We can arrange a replacement, repair or other solution to fit the customer’s needs. All pieces are handled by human hands, and mistakes do happen.

3. Warranty
Generally, Iron House Fitness offers a 5-year warranty on all structural steel material, equipment frames, and welding integrity when used as intended as applicable to the original purchaser (non-transferable). The length of warranty for all of our barbells are determined by product. Details are available on the individual product pages for barbell warranty. Paint or upholstery has a warranty of up to 30 days after the order has been received as applied to the original purchaser (non-transferable). Moving parts have a warranty of up to 1 year, applicable only to the original purchaser (non-transferable). Warranty items are subject to inspection by Iron House Fitness in order to determine if warranty-voiding abuse, neglect, or misuse is present.

Warranty-avoiding conditions include any damages occurred through negligence or faulty use, alteration, maintenance, storage or handling by the user. Furthermore, if the product is damaged during assembly or storage, the warranty is void. The warranty does not cover the wear and tear that comes with regular use on any components of our products that are expected to be worn after regular use. Damages including scratches, tears, or cosmetic damage are not included in this warranty.

Third-Party Goods: For products that are sold but not manufactured by Iron House Fitness, warranty is as provided by the original manufacturer. The customer is responsible for contacting Iron House Fitness with the relevant information regarding equipment condition.

Products or parts requested for exchange applicable under warranty will undergo an inspection process that may take up to 2 weeks. 

If the issue is determined to be covered under warranty, Iron House Fitness will replace the defected products or parts. Iron House Fitness will pay the cost of return packaging and shipping.
